INJURY TO KNICKS PROJECTED STARTING FOWARD

Jared Jefferies the Knicks lone free agent pick up in the offseason found out Monday that he fractured his wrist in the Knicks/Nets preseason game at the Garden Friday night. He had an MRI on his wrist on Sunday and he will miss at least 3 to 6 weeks. Note to Isiah Thomas......START DAVID LEE.......IF YOU START LEE HE WILL HAVE THOMAS SAYING WAIT WE SIGNED WHO...WAIT WHATS HIS NAME JEFF WHO?

Jared Jefferies I think will be a solid asset for the knicks. For one, he is not a guard unlike every other player the knicks got. secondly he can knock down open shots and knows his roll in the NBA. David Lee showed signs that he could one be an all-star within the next two or 3 years so it should be interesting to watch how this season plays out for the knicks. either way i dont see this being bad for them at all

Jared Jefferies could prove to be a solid asset to the Knicks and I hope he proves me wrong but the Knicks shouldnt have thrown that much money plus another big contract at a guy who cant rebound or score consistantly....the move was not necessary
